Some thoughts
on
orthodontics,
course and
your cases |
Orthodontics
is a
technique,
a
concept
and a
way of
life
for
many
dentists
who
are
proficient
in it.
Just
because,
it was
never
introduced
in
dental
school
system,
does
not
mean
it can
not be
learned
and
practiced.
As a
GP,
you
perform
many
procedures
that
are
equally
complicated
or
more
but
you
perform
them
comfortably
without
thinking
twice.
That
is
because
you
have
been
doing
it for
a long
time
and
you
don't
have
to
think
about
it.
Practicing
orthodontics,
for
the
first
time
in
your
dental
carrier
you
are
getting
a
chance
to
treat
the
cause
and
not
the
symptom.
It's
exciting
and
results
are
fascinating
but
you
must
learn
LDOM
and
make
it
part
of
your
life.
It
takes
time
and
repetitions
before
you
will
feel
comfortable
but it
is
possible.
The
two
years
of
orthodontic
training
gets
you
going
and
you
are
already
treating
cases
in
various
stages
of
treatments
however,
you
will
need
to
follow
through
when
you
wish
to and
on
your
terms.
That
is why
we
have,
Advanced
Study
Group.
As
long
as you
attend
one of
the
meetings,
you
will
continue
to get
support
with
your
cases
and
otherwise.
Don't
forget,
there
is
also
Orthodontic
Forum
which
is
great
place
to
meet
and
exchange
ideas
but is
also a
place
where
you
will
get
support
from
Dr.
Kale,
Dr.
Conlin
and
seniors
who
have
been
LDOM'ing
for a
while.

Troubleshooting
your
cases
You
need
not
worry
about
your
cases.
We
will
do a
full
diagnosis
of
every
case
you
bring
to the
meeting
and
help
you
out
with
ALL
your
cases
either
in
person
at the
meeting
or
using
Orthodontic
Forum
. You
need
to
attend
all
sessions
as
sessions
are
most
likely
will
not be
repeated
entirely.
Most
material
gets
revised
few
times
during
the 2
years
but
these
revisions
are
important
and
they
are
usually
associated
with
actual
application
in
cases
being
discussed
or
cases
that
are
being
diagnosed
with
you
and
for
you.
Part
of the
day,
towards
the
end is
always
reserved
for
your
cases.
